Diana's sources of inspiration come from the natural world and she is currently painting landscapes using transparent layers of paint and mixed media to create texture in her beautiful paintings.
This Wivenhoe artist's technique
She sketches and takes photographs of places throughout the seasons and then when she's back in her art studio, she combines elements that evoke the atmosphere or mood of a place rather than just painting a traditional scene or landscape.
Diana studied art at Chelsea College of Art
Diana completed a three year degree course at the Chelsea College of Art and prior to that a two year foundation course at the City Lit, which covered sculpture, print-making, and painting.

Diana has had three solo shows at Colchester Library and
has donated paintings to The Secret Art Sale which has been held at
The Minories Gallery, High Street, Colchester CO1 1UE
for a number of years to raise funds for the Colchester Cancer Centre
She also regularly shows work at local art and craft fairs
